Pilobolus is seeking an intelligent, energetic, good-humored and motivated intern for the marketing department of its New York City office. The internship promises to provide exposure to many areas of the company, providing an understanding of how a nonprofit arts organization functions.
Specific responsibilities will include implementation of company?s new brand through brand management, social media marketing strategy, generation, management and distribution of press materials, presenter and press communication, and the opportunity to assist in various activities throughout the company.
A successful intern candidate will have:
Exceptional oral and written communication skills
Ability and willingness to tackle assignments including: collateral design; sales tracking; merchandise management/design; idea generation for new marketing ideas and strategies; brand management; communicating with press and media outlets; and organizing and updating company media platforms.
Social Media savvy, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Vimeo
Excellent time management skills
Ability to commit 20 hours per week
Formal design and/or marketing/communications education and previous internship in these areas plus
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Mpeg streamclip, Interdubs, and FinalCut Pro a plus
